YGG Play and Delabs Games Launch Baseball Game for Degens, GIGACHADBAT

Crypto gaming guild protocol Yield Guild Games (YGG) partnered with South Korea’s Delabs Games to launch GIGACHADBAT, a baseball-themed web3 mobile game aimed at casual “degen” players.

Originally launched on the TON blockchain via Telegram Mini-Apps, GIGACHADBAT is now published through YGG Play and built on the Abstract blockchain and features tap-to-play mechanics where users swing bats to score points. Players can redeem points for YGG tokens and Abstract XP, with additional rewards available through tournaments and in-game activities.

Moreover, Delabs Games founder and CEO Joonmo Kwon said the partnership with YGG Play is aimed at making GIGACHADBAT both accessible and rewarding.

GIGACHADBAT at LOL Land

Accordingly, YGG’s casual board game LOL Land also announced the launch of a new board in collaboration with GIGACHADBAT. The addition will offer its players fast-paced mini-games centered on batting, boosting and scoring points.

On the other hand, LOL Land also announced a limited-time Bonus Bounty event to celebrate the launch of GIGACHADBAT.

The event, available exclusively in Premium Mode, features a “GIGACHAD Baseball” map with reward tiers ranging from 100 to 500,000 premium points. Players can claim rewards through the Bonus Bounty interface in the main lobby once the event ends, with a three-day claim window for those who complete at least 100 rolls.

The promotion runs through the weekend, with Game Pass characters excluded from eligibility.

GIGACHADBAT

GIGACHADBAT announced in an X post that it is now live on the Abstract blockchain. 

It is a “casual degen” baseball-themed web3 title designed for short, repeatable sessions and emphasizes competitive play and community bragging rights. The game features short, fast-paced rounds where players swing for points to test reflexes and instincts.

GIGACHADBAT was introduced in July 2024 as a baseball-inspired tap-to-earn title available on the Telegram Mini-Apps ecosystem. The game lets players farm points by tapping the screen while a character swings a bat, with points redeemable for rewards and, eventually, $GAME tokens.

What is YGG Play?

Launched in 2025, YGG Play is the crypto game publishing division of YGG, focused on delivering accessible, community-driven web3 titles under a genre it calls “Casual Degen.”

The initiative replaced YGG’s long-running Guild Advancement Program and introduced a flexible, skills-based questing and rewards system with emphasis on guild campaigns, competitive play, and community recognition. It is designed to support developers by connecting games to YGG’s player network and providing tools for sustainable growth.

Dizon has described YGG Play as central to the guild’s goal of becoming a leading web3 game publisher by 2030.

Last August, YGG Play signed its first third-party publishing deal with blockchain RPG Gigaverse, supporting the title with marketing, community engagement, and player acquisition.
