CoinDesk, the media company and organizer behind the global crypto conference Consensus, announced the return of its Asia-focused edition, Consensus Hong Kong, scheduled for February 10–12, 2026.
In collaboration with Solana Foundation, this year’s gathering will feature “Solana Accelerate,” a dedicated event for developers and builders within the Solana ecosystem, taking place on February 11.
Consensus Hong Kong 2026
Consensus, recognized as the world’s longest-running gathering for the cryptocurrency industry established its footprint in Asia with a debut Hong Kong edition in 2025.
- The 2026 event aims to connect decision-makers, investors, and founders through a series of regulatory roundtables, capital strategy sessions, and technical deep dives.
- According to the organizers, the conference serves as a bridge between East and West. It aims to position Hong Kong as a central stage for institutional participation in digital asset markets.
- Key program tracks will focus on Stablecoins and Tokenization, alongside interactive activations such as the “Consensus Cup” at the Hong Kong Jockey Club and an institutional summit in partnership with SALT.
Michael Lau, Chairman of Consensus, stated that the event brings together complementary audiences, from regulators to developers:
“I am delighted to welcome Solana Accelerate to the fold. The energy and innovation of Solana’s developer and founder community will perfectly complement the Consensus audience.”
Solana Accelerate Debut
According to the press release, Solana Accelerate is set to make its Consensus debut on the second day of the conference.
- The event is designed as a dedicated space for the “full spectrum” of the crypto ecosystem to engage with the Solana blockchain community.
- The initiative provides a platform for builders to interact directly with institutions and investors.
Ellie Platis, Head of Events at the Solana Foundation, noted that the partnership aligns with Hong Kong’s history of developing financial markets:
“Bringing Solana Accelerate to Consensus Hong Kong is about meeting builders, institutions, and policymakers where the next chapter is being written. Accelerate gives the region a direct way to engage with the technology and teams shaping the future of internet capital markets”.
